Gadi Kinda permanently signed by Sporting Kansas - Second biggest fee in club history
Major League Soccer side Sporting Kansas City are expected to pick up the purchase option for attacking midfielder Gadi Kinda. Well informed MLSSoccer.com reporter Tom Bogert broke the story on Tuesday. The Israeli has scored six goals and one assist in 18 MLS regular-season games this season.
Sporting Kansas signed the Israeli in January from Beitar Jerusalem using Targeted Allocation Money (TAM). Kinda is expected to become a Designated Player for Sporting KC once the transfer is completed. Furthermore, Borgert reported that the fee would be the second largest in the club's history behind DP Alan Pulido for whom the club paid $9.5 million last January.
Kinda's current market value is $1.32 million. The club's second most expensive signing is Gerso. The left-winger joined Sporting Kansas from Portuguese side Belenenses in Jan. 2017 for a reported fee of $1.65 million.
Update Nov. 10, 10 p.m. ET: According to Transfermarkt information the actual fee is $3.7 million. Israeli sources have told TM that the club paid the fee in July.
